I grew up in a heavy construction family, frequently moving with the family throughout California and Arizona to various road, bridge and dam job sites. It was very important to his father to keep the family together while traveling to the many job sites and we finally settled in Arroyo Grande, Central California coast, where I completed high school and attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
After college, I entered the family construction business and received his California General Building Contractor’s License, later adding a General Engineering Contractor’s License. During this time I was involved in the family retail business, pet store and arts and crafts.
I began investing in real estate properties, residential and commercial, and developing in raw land. I advanced my real estate investing throughout the southern U.S., California to Florida, having projects in several states.
During the past 40 years of my professional career I have opened, purchased and sold numerous businesses, ranging from constructions companies, land development, restaurants, retail, printing and publishing, country inn, resorts, mini storage, property management, online e-commerce and more.
My passion is business exhibited in my owning my own businesses for the last 40+ years. My experience is vast in financing real estate and other projects. I have been called as an expert witness in financing testimonies and have consulted and advised various companies in financing and capital acquisition.
